ABOUT US

The All Animals Initiative for Multispecies Community Building is a collective of scientists, artists, students, and educators collaborating to empower and connect multispecies communities through public engagement, creative practice, and rigorous scholarship.

We envision a future in which multispecies communities around the globe are connected, supported, and thriving.

We believe that strong multispecies communities motivate support for animal welfare and environmental protection, enhance our understanding of other beings, reveal the value and complexity of nonhuman lives, create space for collective problem solving, and foster a sense of shared belonging.

To explore the scholarship behind the initiative, please visit the WATR-lab website for more information about the research group that serves as the academic foundation to our work.
